Ann Ferguson Reproduction Chart

$24.00

Ann Ferguson was a beautiful embroiderer! Her work is simply stunning. Her choice of colors and ability to blend colors makes this samplers one of my most treasured. There are three beautiful borders in this piece; one that frames all the central motifs and two that run left to right across the sampler. Each one has variations of colors in the flowers making the stitching of Ann engaging. Included in the chart is an alphabet for both upper and lower case letters and dates to 2026. Thread colors for AvS d’Alger and DMC stranded cotton are included.

This sampler is has on it a beautiful example of of what is now known as a “Solomon’s Porch”. Extensive and ongoing research by three members of the Sampler Guild in the United Kingdom can be found here.
