It depends on where you live. In the UK/Europe I recommend the Royal School of Needlework. Their frames are expensive but will last two lifetimes. Jenny Adin-Christie also sells frame but you need to contact her directly on via her web site to inquire as to sizes, cost and availability. http://www.jennyadin-christieembroidery.co.uk/Contacts.html
In the North Americ, there is a new company who is sending me a frame to test and I’ll let you know about his frame as soon as it arrives. He sells on Easy. Here is a link to his shop. https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/MythicCraftsAB I have not tested these so I can’t speak from direct experience as to how well they work at holding your fabric tight.
I bought the fabric locally. On the back of the fabric the words “Decortex” are printed so I’m assuming that’s the company that produces it. I find the fabric to be really lovely to stitch on and bought all they had left, which wasn’t much!
Hello Kathy – Are you offering on-line classes, and if so, what are the subjects? I am lining up some on-line classes for my embroidery guild this Fall.
Thank you very much in advance.

Hi
I saw in one of your posts you used cork fabric. Can you tell me what brand you used? Do you have the company name or website?
Thank you so much for your time.
Anya
Dear Anya,
I bought the fabric locally. On the back of the fabric the words “Decortex” are printed so I’m assuming that’s the company that produces it. I find the fabric to be really lovely to stitch on and bought all they had left, which wasn’t much!
Good luck and let me know if you find it!
Liebe Grüße,
Kathy
Thinking of you … every time I use the laying tool. Bless you and your dad.
Gentle as you go,
Marny
Hello Marny!
Long time since we’ve “talked”. Hope you’re doing well and glad to know you’re still using the laying tool!
Liebe Grüße,
Kathy
